Admin Manual: Season Cloning and Member Reassignment
Purpose
This manual explains how to create a new season from the previous one in ClubSy by cloning the sport structure (categories, leagues, and teams), and how to reassign team members so the new season is operational.
What is cloned and what is not?

Structure cloning does not automatically move all historical members from the previous season. Member reassignment is done afterward using the reassignment wizard.
Prerequisites
- Have club administration permissions.
- An active season with a coherent structure must exist.
- Know whether you will do direct continuity or reorganization.
- Confirm Phase 2 migrations if you will reassign pending/pre-registered members.
Step-by-step process: structure cloning
- Go to Sport Structure.
- Confirm the current active season.
- Click Create season and complete the data.
- Confirm the summary and creation dialogs.
Expected result
- The new season is created and set as active.
- Counters for copied elements are displayed.
Usage example
Create 2026-2027 using Copy categories, leagues, and teams. Then use the wizard to reassign members to the newly cloned teams.
